Florida Week at Ohio Dreams

Catch the bus in St. Cloud

Ohio Dreams and the SSA have teamed up to offer a package deal, including travel to get Florida racers up to the NBL National Training Center in Butler, OH this summer!


We have received many requests for a Florida week with the possibility of Chartering a bus to help everyone save time and money on travel.  Before the bus is chartered we need to make sure there is enough interest to help everybody keep costs down. 

Details

Session and Dates:  Session 6 (7/31 - 8/6)

SSA Pricing:  $750 ($100 discount)

Travel Pricing:  $200 - $400

Departure Date:  Saturday, July 30. 7:00pm

Departing from:  St. Cloud BMX parking lot

Arriving back:  Sunday, Aug. 7.  8:00am

Totals:  $1150 (or less) for 6 days/6 nights at camp including all meals* and lodging.

*The bus will be traveling overnight both to and from Ohio Dreams and will be stopping at regular meal times at restaurants along the route, these meals are not provided by Ohio Dreams.

Training

Travel Pricing Details

The minimum number of campers needed to catch the bus is 25.  At this amount of campers the travel cost will be $400 per camper and this includes luggage and bike transportation to Ohio Dreams.  The bus capacity is 50 campers, if the bus is filled the cost per camper will be $200.  Once the number of campers goes over 25 the cost of transportation will begin to decrease so make sure to tell your friends!

The average travel cost of sending a camper from Florida is around $500, so not only will everybody be saving money but you will be saving time and worry as well.

Seriously interested qualifies as being prepared to put down a deposit ($250) for camp by April 1, 2011. 

When we receive 25 "seriously interested emails" we will charter the bus and make the announcement that we are accepting deposits for this week.

We have a number of riders from FL who are already registered for this week and are planning on attending.





Carol Woods from Miami South BMX and Lynda Schladant from High Springs BMX will be the two Florida Camp Moms representing Ohio Dreams at the remaining Florida State Races.
